You know the ironic part? The overwhelming majority of people who didn't want to get invaded, would still coop through other invasion-free means, even before the seamless coop mod, like putting the signs in front of the boss room, or tweaking their firewall to not allow unknown connections...

seamless coop is the best thing possible: You can play with non try hard friends.
Then you can coop or duel lagless. If arena had the seamless coop netcode i would play it everyday.

As for casuals coopers: if you remove the mod they will find another way to not be bothered by the red angry nerdy gnome or just leave the game to another one i guess.

i would say the ironic part is the biggest complainers about the seamless co-op mod cause they wanna be able to invade people who just wanna be left alone to co-op in peace with their friend are also the same people who go around telling everyone who doesn't like the game the same way they do to just go play other games instead-as if removing those people from the invasion pool by not playing the game at all is somehow different and better than removing people from the invasion pool by allowing them to co-op in peace. it's almost like the real thing they want is to waste other people's time and hopefully make them more miserable. cause if it was just about wanting to invade people, there's obviously a massive amount of people who like that system and willingly engage with it, right? just go play with them like you were always going to have to anyway.
