many enable it lol again you are not the center of the universe
the reason many use the mod is not to not have invasion, is so they don't have to re invite their friend every time they go trough a door or kill a boss lol
They actually cannot bear the idea that other people may not want to play with them, but may just want to have some fun time with their friends without being reminded *literally every minute* of how many sociopaths looking for trouble exist out there..
No, mr Edgelord cannot have that- he must play along with Mizeraki's toxic scheme and drag everyone else down into his little kindergarden world of "me me me- i am better than you, I beat you!"
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/fromsoftwares-says-elden-rings-seamless-co-op-mod-is-definitely-not-something-we-actively-oppose-and-may-even-consider-ideas-like-that-with-our-future-games/
You want good pvp? play Dark Souls 3, It has actually fair fights
Invasions have been effectively nerfed and taken out of the game anyways, might as well fix the atrocious co-op fogwall and no-horse problems that vanilla has and join a seamless discord with people using the same password if you want invasions, since they just added invasions into seamless coop
Also some people just want to clown around with mods and running seamless is the easiest way to do that without getting banned since its not only compatible with mods but uses a different save so you dont get banned by bandai. AND IT EVEN HAS BETTER CONNECTION AS IT UTILIZES STEAM'S SERVERS
All around there are no downsides to the mod, even as a regular souls player who also misses pvp, Seamless Co-op is not the enemy, It's Fromsoft's wishy washy design when implementing multiplayer that IS the problem, pvp was dead the second it hit the ground because of the new rules for invasions and reducing the lobby limit from 6 to 4, and the seamless co-op mod is probably a reason for atleast 30% of the sales from normies who made them millions off of elden ring, so it being then "highest grossing and most popular" literally owes half of its success to a third party mod some guy made to fix Mitsubishi's(tm) mistakes
Its a great mod
you're just crying because Fromsoftware intentionally took away all of your toys, and now nobody wants to play on the playground with you anymore
Except for the fact that seamless coop mod has over two times the HP and damage scaling of both normal and boss enemies as the core game does, in vanilla all enemies get 15% more HP and deal 15% more damage with two people, in seamless coop non-boss enemies get 20% more hp and deal 15% more damage, bosses get 35% more hp and deal 25% more damage, and for the mod those percentiles are stacked multiplicative per player that joins you.
So no there is no cheating it, only cheaters are people who actually use cheats and us modders dont like cheaters either.
For one its not cheating and two FromSoft didnt even want PVP in Elden RIng to begin with, thats at fault of the people who whined and cried and "needing" pvp.
Also invasions are optional in non-modded Elden Ring as is. Simply don't go co-op and stay offline or even stay online but don't use the co-op item opening up the session. Same with all dark souls, just stay offline.
And no NPC invasions don't even count since it is scripted as a pretty sadly easy to kill enemy, that drops nice loot unlike a player invader.
