Furnace Golem in charos hidden grave unkillable?

I have been smacking it for 5 minutes and the health bar is still full. Is there a certain way I have to kill this one? I do see a spirit spring nearby but not sure if I am supposed to use that to kill it somehow.

Basically, yes - use the spring. :)

Huge Furnace Pots will take care of that Golem pretty quick.

dunk'em with the furnace pots big fire ones work too but do way less damage

This is a rare moment where you need to craft something. Craft at least four or more Hefty Furnace Pots, then find the Spirit Spring to get onto the little plateau behind it. Toss the Pots right inside the Golem's main body and it should go down within three successful Pot throws.

Since its already been stated plainly, to clarify on the intended way to figure all this out, you can see that this golem has heavily reinforced legs, giant metal anklets that prevent damage the normal way. Instead, you can find a note next to a destroyed golem near the Shadowkeep from an engineer, telling the soldiers to not bring fire bombs near the golem. That is your hint that you need to use firebombs on it, then figuring out that they need to be dunked in the top specifically is a mix of trial and error, and deductive reasoning on the existence and height of the spiritspring ledge and the exact wording of the note.
