Radahn's size
Why is Radahn smaller in the DLC, than he is in the base game when you fight him in the desert?

Is it that "grand enemy has to literally be larger than life to be imposing" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that Myiazaki is pulling in every game, or does it have an actual explanation, like the fact that he's using Mogh's body (since Consort Radahn is about as big as Mogh)?

It’s cuz he got fat on all the corpses he was eating. Once you stop working out. The weight just piles on

You answered your own question. That, and it is obvious Miquella formed his look around Radahn when he was younger, his ideal of Radahn, which is why we get the "young lions set" as armor. Its implied Radahns greatrune made him larger when he became Starscourge Radahn.

Little young radahn vs old gravity magic using radahn.
He got buffer and ate a bunch .

I saw some people say that, but where ingame is it implied that his greatrune made him larger? And why is this effect only on him, and not others like Rennala, Malenia, Morgott, etc. ?

Also note that often in these games size is not necessarily literal. Look at the size of Godrick and Morgott when they are dead.

Yes, that's what I meant by the "grand enemy has to literally be larger than life to be imposing" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that Myiazaki is pulling in every game.

Well he is blighted and probably bloated with all the rot. Lets remember he literally got the Malenia rot nuke that ruined all Caelid literally in the face....so everything goes.

Because he's in Mohg's body. But also interestingly, in the opening cutscene he's roughly the same size as Morgott, so it means he must have learned gravity magic after losing to him.

Uh, the very first boss you fight shows that Great Runes increase the size of the wielder. Even Morgott shrivels up when you defeat him.

Miquella abandoned his Rune tho, How'd he retain his power?
Or Redahn for that matter. If that was him from his younger days, then did he have to forfeit that strength to keep the stars at bay? Or was it his Rune, which we have in OUR possession? Is he merely some sort of superior spirit ash then?
...This is raising some really bizarre questions for me. =3=

The only one that didn't is Rykard, and I assume that's only because the snake ate him first.

Radahn was just that angry. Even in scarlet zombie mode, he still maintained his hold on the cosmos. It’s why he’s super sayain when you fight him in the dlc.

Miquella came back as a god, he wouldn’t have been able to return if Radahn didn’t bring him back.

Yes but as others have mentioned, that could just be artistic liberty, seeing as how Renalla doesn't have this effect, and also while that may be true, all the other demigods are roughly the same size (Malenia, Mogh/Morgott, Renalla, Godfrey, Godwyn, etc.). Only Rykard is bigger, but he snaked himself xD

Also in the trailer where we see Malenia fight Radahn, he's as big as his festival self, so that means it's definitely not rot bloating xD

Just take this as a learning lesson. Don’t eat carbs.
