And bringing up the fact that it's some kind of rule, just because Demon's Souls had is stupid lol, are you going to play in 30fps because that's what Demon's Souls had? Change is not always bad, and in this case i don't see an issue just put it as optional option in menu or smg.
Obviously you can't pause during multiplayer, but i see no reason why it shouldn't be possible to do so in single-player or offline mode, it certainly won't break gameplay and if you don't want to use it just don't do it - it's that simple.
I personally believe that 60fps cap is much bigger issue in 2024 it's literally a joke, especially in upscaling era.
