Fashion is the true endgame. Has been for 13 years now.
It's called counter damage and there are whole builds around this mechanic, using the Spear talisman. How familiar are you with the game?
I love how you're asking me that as if there aren't a myriad of ways to boost poise that aren't exclusively tied to armor and as if I don't have nearly 500 hours played.
Hyper armor is also a thing which is why, depending on the weapon or skill you're using, you might not necessarily need high poise to avoid getting interrupted (hence the fashion comment).
Of course you'd also need knowledge of which kinds of attacks will break through that hyperarmor and that falls under the umbrella of game knowledge which comes from practice.
Anyway, if you need poise, you can get poise. A lot of it.
Not sure what all the whining's for.
I'm loving the dlc armors.
There are two stats that matter when wearing armors, poise and equip load.
