Silver scarab question

Does anyone know if the silver scarab talisman also effects the quantity of a stack of items like I loot 1 feather but with scarab i get more or is it just for gear drop etc.

No, it will only affect the drop chance but won't increase quantity.

Pretty sure the amount you get from drops is random when it comes to materials. The talisman just meant to increase the chances to drop it better.

It will only affect drop chance, but some enemies have multiple chances to drop items. So for some birds, there are maybe three separate chances for them to drop a Flight Pinion, and the Silver Scarab boosts each one by the same amount.

Take this with a grain of salt since I haven't actually looked at the code directly, I'm just inferring from what I've observed.

It does. And so does your Arcane stat. There's also a new consumable in the DLC, the SIlver Horn Tender, that's an upgraded version of the Silver Pickled Fowl Foot. The two consumables do not stack with each other however.
