The Wiki DLC progression guide chart is not accurate...

I discovered the visual numbered area guide on the wiki around the time I was at Scadu, and aside from some random souther exploration, I pretty much followed the areas as the guide had them depicted by chance. 1,2,3,4,5,6...

Well, I kept playing and wound up in the Shadow Keep and ended up Killing Messmer today. Stumbled around the Keep a bit and found myself struggling heavily with the Scadutree Avatar... Like, this is the first boss I straight cant kill within a few tries.

I looked that chart back up and supposedly, Messmer is numbered 17, while the Scadutree Avatars base is numbered 8... So if the visual progression guide on the wiki was accurate, I would have killed the Scadutree Avatar in 3 tries like I did Messmer, then would have been unable to beat Messmer at all, but it was backwards, and by quite a lot of numbers. I mean, area 8 vs 17 is quite far when it only goes to 19.

So yeah, I dont think that map is entirely accurate.

Idk I killed Messmer in 2 attempts. Scadutree Avatar in 1. I didn't find the avatar until I was at the last boss and decided to go exploring.
Personal skill doesn't equate to a guide being out of order though

loooooooooooooooooool good one. Yeah, personal skill as if you being blessing 17 when facing the tree and your build has nothing to do with it dont respond if you are just gonna be annoying

I mean I'm pretty sure I was at 12 or 13 with a great katana lightning build. If it helps I did another character through at blessing 9 and killed it in two tries.

Not my build rn. Guess I will come back. Doesnt change anything. I whooped Messmer then the tree is ridiculous and its supposedly a 9 area difference.

Just look at the fragments locations if you're having issues, on my lastest playthrough I stopped to locations I knew to get 5 Blessings and I completely steamrolled Rellana as an int character despite her having high magic resistance.

You can go up to 12 blessings without even killing any boss.

Im not having issues. Im at blessing 11 or 12, and get every boss in a few tries. I have played every souls game from FromSoft. Im saying, the Wiki progress map is zoned so that Messmer is the 17th zone and the Tree is the 8th, and I killed Messmer in a couple tries but got whooped several by the tree, so the wiki is just not perfectly accurate.
