it'd be really cool if they could expand on the major three endings from the base game. ik thats asking for a lot, but personally id love to play a continuation for the age of stars with ranni, or see what happens in the lands after the frenzied flame. they could do small variations for dialouge or mob and boss layout for age of ( fracture, duskborn, order). those would be epic or they could go the nier route and pick one and just make a second dlc based off of that

Well it is also the first and last Elden Ring... There are rumours about an Elden Ring anime though 0.o.

But they will do something amazing and original again, prob not as big though. Miyazaki said, that he does not plan to make something as Big as Elden Ring again :/

Huge as it is, it's already an unreplayable mess. It they gonna make games this big, ditch NG+ and the "pick either item A or B" questline BS.

It's a shame, because I was really hoping for a land of reeds DLC.

"The Land of Reeds has long been locked in a miserable civil war, during which time it has remained alienated from the cultures of its neighbors. Little wonder that the entire nation has succumbed to blood-soaked madness, or so it is said."

From the moment I read that item description I always assumed that was a preemptive justification for why everybody in the land of reeds will try to kill you the same way they do in the lands between. The samurai class is also vaguely linked to the Blood Star, which is a really cool entity that's almost nonexistent in the base game, so that would have been a perfect place to learn more about it

Modders will likely fix the glaring issues the DLC has, like filling out the Abyssal Woods and Finger Ruins. Might even add a Godwyn fight too.

Lol, don't rule out Elden Ring 2 yet. I'm pretty sure with how much of a success Elden Ring was they're going to capitalize and make a sequel. DS3 sold like 9 million copies, Elden Ring sold 25 million. They probably were going to use some more concepts but decided to save it for a sequel. At least, that's my thinking.

We started in the lands between. We went to the land of shadow. Another DLC to go to the land of light would be nice.
