why are elden ring players so bad?

There's a talisman that draws aggro. Wear it. I have this happen sometimes, but most of the time I just go hit the boss and the boss pays attention to me. I assume the person that's summoned me is doing so because they need help.

You're probably playing with a lot of new to the series players. For most elden ring was their first fromsoft game

Because they probably don't level their vigor or don't level their shadow blessing which also scales with the hosts level.
