How does one reaches this area?

Hi, so I have been hugging every cliff looking for burial stone stairs, or a passage down to an area of the map I have yet to explore. But I can't find the way there.
It's the whole canyon area to the South and East of Fort Reprimand, there is a grace site below the bridge on the East of the Bony Village, for example, but I spotted at least two more, from various areas above this canyon.

I suspect there must be a cave that I missed, despite trying to explorer everything I can. But maybe this unlocks after a certain boss, or is locked behind a secret.
Can some kind soul point me to the general area I should be looking around? Or a clue?

It's the path to the hidden area of the DLC that starts in Shadow Keep.

If you look up "How to get to Abyssal Woods" you'll see Videos showing you how to get there.

you have to get down to the river under the bridge, then just follow the river south, you get there thru a cave, dont remember where tho

I see, I discovered a secret passage by myself at the Shadow Keep, but this might not be the one you are talking about though. But thank you, I'll keep looking then :)

Getting down to the river is precisely what I'm trying to do ;)

I think you are talking about the darklight catacombs, beat the boss there, and you will open up a new area. From recluses river (unlocked via shadow keep coffin, there is a hidden room in the red painting room). You will want to keep to the right and fall as much as you can until you reach the catacombs.

its a secret coffin in the shadow keep, not hard to find, its the same area where the altar for sword of darkness is
