Messmers Spear?

How good is this, im a caster, but wondering how good this spear is hearing quite a bit of hype about it, but 35 in dex would be quite a high investment for me atm is it worth it, thanks

It's far from the strongest weapon introduced in the DLC. It's fun, it has a neat design, but it's on the underwhelming end of well balanced.

Dex isn't a bad investment for a caster though, since it raises your casting speed. Not by a ton, but it's noticeable going from 10 to 80 Dex.

well i levelled up another 10 points into dex and upgraded it to plus 10 and its actually quite good, the light attack is kinda average , but man just spam the heavy and it takes out most enemies, even mini bosses and mobs, seem to be no issue, so yeah im going to use it for a while see how it goes
