Is there a new Death Blight weapon on the DLC?

A friend of mine got instant Death Blight built by some weird white explosion when we got invaded. Did they added another weapon able to do that like that shotel or was it a cheater? I haven't finished the DLC yet and I can't find any information on the wiki.

It's a bug.

That I'm aware of, deathblight only has the four or so sources players can use.

It's a bug that allows a player to attach the effects of a weapon being buffed by a spell, onto the offhand weapon's special attack.
