Finger Ruins of Rhia

I don't think I've ever been more disappointed in a video game before than arriving at the Finger Ruins of Rhia, seeing this amazing, just eerie environment, my mind racing with what sort of crazy stuff is going to happen here, and then learning that it is entirely empty. There is nothing here except for one fetch quest. Essentially an unfinished zone that takes up 1/5 of the map.

What happened with this DLC? They had years to develop it.

Yeah I really felt like the DLC had some emptiness issues, even in the regular areas they felt more empty than base game

DLC needed some more time to cook. Another 6 months and DLSS, widescreen.

Gotta agree. The art direction was top notch and I think fully realized, but you see these incredible ruins for far away but there's really nothing to them. I loved the dlc for the most part, but they lost some points on emptiness of a few zones and the final boss

There was talk of Fromsoft self publishing globally after this, and I hope it's true. Miyazaki said he hasn't yet made his perfect game. Unhinged Fromsoft with no publisher pushing them to release? 🤤

Devs just ran out of creativity after the base game. Simple as that. Base game is enough though.

Mmm, I think Dheo ruins may not be as bad simply because you may come into that area with low expectations from first encountering the Rhea ruins.

At least for me, it was brutal to explore all of Rhea only to find a dead end forest with a shack and two bears.
