Seamless Coop Mod [Virus Detected Question]
So... the modder on Nexus has tunred off comments, because people spammed him to make a update.

Now the modder just released a new version, but I can't even download it becauase my browser and windows defender deleting it immediately, because of an allegedly trojan detection.

And because He has turned off comments on Nexus it feels kinda odd... so I ask you guys here. Had someone else that problem right now?

I don't believe I'm the only one with a virus then... but it still feels very creepy. I don't install it for now... shame. I play save.,

It's not a virus, it's a false positive.
This will iron itself out in a bit as the AV's catch-up and start scanning the files.
Hate that crap
btw I have the same problem, I tried other browsers too (Edge, Chrome, Opera GX), but the browser and MS Defender still said virus detected, but my friends downloaded it and it didn't say that for them and he even scanned the file in MS Defender but it still didn't say that there's a virus...

I think it's windows 11. A friend on windows 10 doesn't have that problem. I also installed it now with making windows defender accepting it and I have no issues so far, except that the mod itself is a little bit buggy now. But that's okay.

I have downloaded it to play with a friend and I saw that the comments are also disabled, Avast I detect it as an infected file, do you know if it is still safe?

I also analyze it with Virustotal and gave 3 virus alerts

Kaspersky not going to be catching up, unfortunately.

I still see the Trojan error as well. Hope it fixes soon

So I just downloaded v1.8.0 and it’s telling me Trojan detected you think it’s safe I’ve previously played on v 1.7.6-1.7.9 with no issues but now it’s popping up as a potential threat. Or could this a issue with the crowdstrike ordeal?
Bola Jul 20, 2024 @ 2:21pm
Correction didn’t download it but windows blocked the download due to “severe threat”
