That's the one in Caelid, yeah? I remember he's a tough one. If you can't find someone to help you, try putting the Sacred Blade ash of war on a hammer or other strike damage weapon. Death birds are weak to strike damage, and Sacred Blade gives a huge damage bonus against undead (which the death birds count as).

Even better, just use a Holy Pot or two. Death Rite Birds have a massive ridiculous weakness to them, and absolutely dissolve. No joke.

Even easier: you can cheese that one!
You can bait him in jumping of the cliff, killingh im instantly, did it everytime so far :)
