I'd take a deathblight dancing lion over a deathblight swamp full of basilisks and deathblight archers and sniper sorcerers tbh. If Miyazaki wanted to get real sadistic, that's what we could have gotten and it would be a mandatory area.

nah... that bloody lion also summon like 4 basilisks after he do a gender reveal party that he use death blight... like... i straight up ran and call summon asap then shoot him with magic behind pillars.

did i also mention its also a small arena ish where you can drop down a cliff?

I think they need to nerf his lizards. Their deathblight breath seems to friendly-fire capable. I walked away from that battle, alive, because of that.
If no one else can re-confirm, I can attempt to do so in NG+. o7

Ahah, did the exact same thing. I didn't use ashes ONCE during the DLC, but the moment the basilisk were summoned, I just brought out the mimic tear. I was having none of his non-sense

Oh trust me, sitting in my own house by myself I audibly shouted "Oh you *******!"
I did overcome it with some player assistance, and helped one or two myself. It's stuff like that that is kinda fun about souls games, the moment the game is designed to **** you over but you can still come out on top.
