On top of the ringed city also having only 3 worthwhile bosses and 1 garbage gimmick pvp boss
I'll give ringed city some credit and say it is a ♥♥♥♥ ton better than ashes of ariandel
The only difference is, ER is open world, and relatively big, which is why it feels like a kick to the nuts.
Even Morrowind gave you a journal, lol.
Elden ring does dark souls better than dark souls 3 ever will
My issue is with the forced exploration where you can easily spend 10-20 hours just figuring out how to reach the other bosses in the game that arent main bosses. That is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and ruins the experience.
SOTE doesn't
Ringed City wins by default
Also, getting to the other areas will be confusing but you will learn how to get to those areas eventually
I had soo much fun looking at something and wondering how to get there and then finding a way to get there. the level design was amazing.
