Everyone owes Mohg an apology
People kept making such vile accusations about him but it turns out they weren't true after all.

Honestly, considering how highly Ansbach thinks of Mohg, I'm leaning more on the side of Miquella taking advantage of him with his mind control tomfoolery than anything else.

nope, I can't excuse a man kidnapping a child (there is no evidence that Miquella has power over Mohg's mind)

We literally have Ansbach flat out saying that was the case, and even tried to undo it only for him to also get brainwashed.

Actually there is. It was Miquella literally asked him to do it. It was all part of Miquella's plot to use his blood to reach the Shadow Realm. It's why we're in this DLC zone in the first place.

if you're referring to his last dialogue with the Tarnished just outside of Radahn's location, it's very thin as evidence (but it count as one , yes)

nevertheless, I cannot forgive the kidnapping of a child ! (even if like you believe , Miquella kidnapped himself)

I always respected him the most

I remember this theory being mocked elsewhere like it was impossible that Miquella enchanted Mohg. All these selfish beings having such devout loyalty to some little boy with persuasion power was always weird. I expected Miquella to be a at least somewhat in the grey area.

It's just the whole Radahn thing is so freakin' corny.

Its the dialogue in the Shadow Keep, as well as before that, shortly after breaking the charm.

He flat out calls Miquella a monster for his actions, and grows highly resentful after learning what Miquella was gonna do with Mohg's body.

I dont care if Miquella is a kid, its very obvious Mohg was brainwashed and had no real free will, he was controlled by Miquella.

"We thought he was the Moghlester. But in reality, he was the one getting Miquellested this whole time!"

The real criminals are the Elden Ring writers, who didn't even try to be consistent with the base game. Are we really going to pretend Mogh didn't try to start a new dynasty swearing allegiance to the outer god Formless Mother and corrupting the entire area including all the albunerics? This started in the sewers by the way, way before any interaction with Miquella. It doesn't even seem like Miquella cares about the Formless Mother and there is zero reference to it in the DLC, so notch another fail up to the writing.

I don't think Miquella enchanting Mohg changes Mogh's motivations - just that Miquella used that against him. He was still a muderer before this and he still wanted his dynasty, what changed was the consort.

this is a valid theory, the counterpart could be that a follower of Mogh cannot conceive how his master could have done what he did and proposed this explanation as the truth.

I seem to remember there being info in base game about Miquella not being able to turn off the enchanting thing. This being why the main person who got to spend any time around him is his sister, who is either so devoted it doesn't matter, or past the point of no return due to growing up together anyway.
