As long as we are exchanging actual subjective opinions, I'm also completely ok with OP calling "just" fine.
dlc is good. weapons are good, bosses i've seen are fine. dlc is fine

However, it's me that didn't like it apart from the upgraded visuals from DS1 and I 100% support the opinion it was great for whoever claims that it was.
Please someone talk about "not beating the game if they used X" right now or something, this whole wholesome bit is making me throw up.
Understandable. It took me SEVERAL attempts to get into Dark Souls 2. I hated it the first several times. Finally, I just sat down and plowed through it and now it's one of my favorite Dark Souls. It's a very long game, great itemization, and quite varied environments (if not so much on the enemies).
Hex witch build is still mega awesome to play.
