Inventory bug

I cannot pick up anything, every item I pick up gives the "Inventory full, max exceeded items" even though I've never picked any of it up before. Had this happen with the secret scroll for ansbach and now it has completely dissappeared from the game, locking me out of his questline.

Anyone else having this?

There's a maximum amount of items in your personal inventory, past which items get sent to the storage chest accessed at the Sites of Grace

Checked that already, that wasn't the case. I could pick up other items, just not quest items for some reason. The scroll in any case is still gone so no finishing ansbach quest for me :)

There is another, similar report just posted here. Person had to remove Smithing Stone 4 and Comet spell from their inventory before they could pick up a Painting.

I suspect there will be many more inventory glitches and suspect FS will be doing an emergency patch. Sooner rather than later, I hope.

damn, so you are basically having another version of the bug that this other person had in the forums, where items of a subcategory count as having reached the maximum...

Only for you it's with key items instead of notes...

How many entries do you have in Key Items in total, combined between the chest and your person, out of curiosity?

Yeah just saw the post, sucks. Guess I'll wait for an inventory mod and then finish ansbachs questline 🙃

Around 98 key items in person and chest, this includes multiple items like larval tears etc.
Was just reading that other persons forum post, I sadly don't have a back up save T-T

Damn something must be seriously broken then, I have way more than that without issues.

Unfortunately if you didn't have windows file history or restore points enabled and you didn't make a manual backup, then i'm afraid there's no way to revert to before it happened. I'm sorry.

Might just wait until grand merchant gets updated and get it that way.

DONT GET HAPPY YET BUT I MAY HAVE A SOLUTION

So what i think that means is you have TOO MANY "TYPES" of items. you have run out of slots for NEW items. So i deleted some of my crappy edables . so if you have 10 meat pieces .. get rid of them all and it opens up a slot.. not sure but good luck
