Is Bayle bugged? i can't lock into his leg

Ngl I have no idea why some dragons’ legs can’t be locked on to. It seems intentional, but I just find it a bit odd since half the dragons in the game have like 10 spots to lock on to, but the lightning dragons, bayle, and some others, only have 1-2 focus points which aren’t the legs, and that makes bayle way harder if u don’t use magic (which is why I’m struggling a bit with him atm).

well almost every attack leaves him facing you in 1-2 meters distance so you can always smack his face around and fighting without lock on is also a skill you should have picked up while fighting dragons....

Bayle is one of the worst fights i've faced of all souls i've played, look like a monster hunter boss instead of a souls one, iattacks that remove almost 90% of the player vision, camera is so bugged because you can only focus on its head so it sometimes will just spim like crazy.

The bosses and items of this dlc are trully dissapointing.

With some fights the actual boss is the damn camera lmao (looking at you hippo)

nah bale is way better then the last boss he is just unfun to fight bale is very easy if you dont camp the edge of the arena and fight him in the middle his full flying combo can be jumped or avoided...

Update: i defeated bayle. no summon. melee, locked on his head. it was a fight of 5hrs+ i think. they need to fix it.

5 hours?! Before you even enter the dragon area you get the dragon-hunter great katana, which has deal extra damage to dragons when you use the ash of war. The game literally tells you "hey, theres dragons ahead, use this". the fight takes like a minute tops of just spamming L2.

obviously a minute was hyperbole. Bayle was the easiest boss in the DLC for me. I didnt even have the stats to scale the katana, just enough to wield it and the rest in faith. First try, i just ran in and spammed L2 over and over until he died in like 12 casts.

im on NG6 with +10 dragon katana. 12 casts is impossible in my case

my bad, brodies. but yeah, its kinda useless for me to watch video guides on how to defeat every boss because most of them are on base diff. i saw lots of light armored fellas tanking midra's nuke, and my lv410 with 80 vig/end gets one shotted by that shiz.

Yeah this was only issue with the fight, is that when the lock on point is with the bosses head the camera just goes crazy.

Luckily it was the quickest boss kill in the game for me, only because I summoned Igor to complete his quest. I can see why its a hard boss, but it was not nearly as hard as other bosses I died to over and over and over and over.
