Strange fire-place infront of castle Ensis

In the soldier camp infront of castle ensis is a fire-plcae guarded by a black knight.

This fire seems strange to me.. the flames are slow and are "holly" looking - also there is some strange noise coming from it.

Also it does not burn you if you stand directly in it.

You cant interact wit it directly - but maybe there is a secret behind it?

Anyone knows?
