all you need to do is use one less funny fragment during early dlc to have the same difficulty curve

^ The curve was linear on release. There is no way to get that experience outside of mods.

Man people really exaggerate the change that was made.

The only thing that got easier was early DLC, mid and late will largely be the same, since the buff from the Blessing gets weaker past 10, so it ends pretty much the same amount by the end.

You say that but forget what they did with radah, I believe the update should be optional and I would like to go back to 1.22.1

That was a nerf from the review, his release state is still the same.

The review version was complete BS, even the first phase.

You can't, but there is a TON of ways to make your game harder, literally 0 reasons for complaining.

There are guides on how to do it online. Just search. Basically, it involves having Steam download a previous version and then linking it in as a non-Steam game. Instructions are more specific on the steps. You lose achievements, of course.
