No Godwyn, No melina?

Anyone else a little disappointed we didn't get any Godwyn boss fight? Or any mention of Melina? Or is it just me...?

I feel like Godwyn could've of easily been the scadutree avatar boss but instead a Sunflower LUL....

technically you can talk with Melina at a Shadow realm grace if you haven't completely all of her dialog, it's nothing new, but you can still talk to her.

They Also mention a sister to Messmer, pretty sure that is Melina.

It would have been foolish to do anything with Melina since her status would be unknown. No one wants to be locked out of DLC stuff based on reasonable things they did in the base game two years ago.

i have not finished the dlc, but i think Melina should have gotten closure, yes

there is too much stuff going on with her to just drop her. burn scars, funny eye like Ranni's funny eye, important mother, no body

this is definitely true for decisions, but they could have added story elements even if she was dead

Possible but you can go to the DLC before lighting the Fire. or you can do Frenzy Flame and burn yourself.

No! You must suffer Miquella's cringe lovestory with his Big Bro! Jokes aside these two things I wanted answered in the the DLC. Sadly I don't think we will every get one aside from what's shown in the base game and maybe if there are spinoffs of this series.
