How does the Summon thing Works ? I summon a player to help me, we kill the boss, I get returned to my world but boss is alive for me ?

Title. So I thought that using the summon feature would provide a help in certain moments. Decided to use it against the Gold Horseman blocking the capital. I write the thing on ground, get summoned to another world, we kill the boss, barrier is gone, I get send back but on my world boss is still alive ?!

You did it wrong. You're supposed to summon someone to your world, not the other way around.

you either go to the world of someone else and help them beat the boss, or summon players to your world to beat the boss and advance in your game

You need to use the Finger Remedy item to see other players signs and summon them to your world to kill your bosses

Ah i get it now, so the finger thing is an invitation to get send to another players world, hence why it didnt count on my world/for me. If i see an invitation on the ground then a player comes to my world and we can kill the boss.

The last tab in the equipment menu is "info". At the bottom are several items that explain some of the important mechanics in the game. Good to check out.

Yessir, the coop system in souls games is based on a host-visitor system. You don't share progress with the people in your games
