Why are people in dlc so scared to pvp

i was invading and someone on gravesite plain just wanted to run across the whole map and just keep summoning phantoms and hunters. Why are people are so scared to even pvp? he/she just kept running for almost 15 min.

From should've never pandered to these care bears because they will never be happy until PVP/invasions are just straight up removed from the game

for example, i am not interested in PVP, its easier for me just to close game, restart and resummon and enjoy game instead of spending 5 minutes on useless pvp noone asked me if i want. Yesterday i waited 20 minutes just to see what will happen, and invader was just standing on boss spawn point and waiting for me, hoping i will spawn boss by mistake, so.. alt+F4 again. So far i met either idiots that i killed in minute, or twinks. I have no need for this.

Because pvp is forced on those just want to play with friends. Invaders should just sweat it out in the Colosseums. That way, they find similar minded people who are of the same skill gap, but we all know invaders are just scared duelists running from fair 1v1s.

The more time you waste of the host the better in the end it feels to deliver a final blow.
PvE players are most likely normies so each hour of theirs you waste is valuable one since the PvE kek will have to wait alot of time while waging until next Saturday starts.
Don't forget to throw a dump die and point down when you're done with them, fellow invader!

I would run too to waste invader's time. I did run once in base game as overleveled phantom. 5 minutes of invader's time wasted (it's when he catched up to host) just to notice that I can almost one shot him, and he used finger severer afterwards. I didn't want to abuse my power, but he gave me no choice.

Ur saying i would run to waste invaders time but most of the invaders are invading because they have a lot of time to waste they just want to pvp because there is nothing to do ingame.

i have killed hosts the same way valve handles steam issues, by doing nothing, just watching the host and their 2 phantoms from a distance with the telescope thing, after like 5 minutes of stares the host just game ends himself by jumping off a cliff
