The NPC brawl before radahn was way cooler

The final NPC battle felt groundbreaking in terms of npc combat, it had people who actually INTERACTED with one another- lamenting the fact that they had to kill each other, and it changes based on your choices. In the end, I see all my former comrades dead on the floor all so I can prevent Miquella from becoming a god. Then when I confront Miquella the whole fight is just a bs teleporting radahn with no ending. I was so hyped by the Leda battle just to get kneecapped in the final stretch. Was anyone else dissatisfied by this or am I reading into this wrong?

100% agreed. I think the game overall could have used more epic 3 vs. 3 fights like that. It was by far my favorite part of the DLC.

the dialogue from the NPCs is too good, from both sides.
my fav one must be this:
"Righteous Tarnished. A balm upon my soul it is, that we do not meet today as enemies. Now, my blade. Watch closely"

and the final fight not only is too annoying, but even the choice of boss was disappointing.

Easily the best NPC battle From has made, I really enjoyed it and I like how you're rewarded for caring to do the characters' quests.

I will state that the gay incest scene for Radahn instantly killed my hype of that fight so yeah the Leda gank was better

You get more people on your side if you explore and do more side quests. It's the game's way of rewarding your work and it was brilliantly executed.

doing certiain questlines or actions will bring you more allies or kill enemies before the fight

this gives you a good reason to kill miquella if you think about it. He attacked cealid with bio weapons because his brother didn't want to marry him, reanimated his corpse and mind controlled him to become his husband. Imagine what he would do if he becomes a god.

I think summoning is required to advance some characters' questlines (could be wrong). Either way, summoning makes this particular fight way more epic.

the npc fight was super fun.

2 vs 4 was not fun. I don't know what I did wrong but I talked to NPC and summoned them for bosses. But in the end almost all of them turned against me.
Only quest I completed is st. Trina.
