If i remember right, some places in the game can only be exited if you fast travel....

Roundtable Hold would be off-limits for one, I think? Definitely some form of challenge-run, to go mapless/forego fast travel.

you'd have to use glitches to progress if you cant go to roundtable, thats for sure

Are you tho? You CAN say no to Melina the very first time you meet her, you won't be able to level up at all during that run, but would that not stop her from yoinking you to the hold? Or do you still get teleported there for the story anyways?

Just asking because I've never actually done that myself, I'm not one for RL1 runs myself :D

Edit: Oh, as a bonus, doesn't that also lock you out of getting the Torrent? So with no mount, no map, no fast travel, extra realistic slow-walking challenge run!

she never forces you to the hold but she'll prompt you every time you sit down.

but barring glitches you'd never be able to get into the capital without doing so, you gotta talk to people in the hold after 2 great runes to actually get in there.
