Apparently you can escape grab attacks faster??

I didint even know that was a thing, anyone knows how to do that with xbox controllers? like what buttons do i need to press, saw on a video it was possible with not mutxh explanation

mash the upper buttons, the bumpers and triggers, like if you were gonna win 10 million dollars if you mashed them fast enough

Oh yeah this has been a thing is most of the soulborne games. For this game it's spam the Left and Right bumpers or L1 and R1 for Playstation controller. There are some grabs where if you escape fast enough you will just take no damage. Do note, there ARE attacks that you will take full damage regardless how fast you spam those buttons, most boss grabs are like that.

you and me both, because I thought that it was all four Ls and Rs, but with that post I just learned that it is only L1 and R1...

This was a thing in Ds3 as well, but literally only with asylum demon. I did it in this DLC for no reason, and was pleasantly shocked when it worked!

This as been a mechanic since ds1. If you get grabbed, mash buttons. Long as its not a 2-3 hit command grab, all grabs can be escaped early with minimal damage.

yeah , dont even remind me of ds1 , i played it after ds3 , ive 300 hours on it and only recently found out you can go down ladders fast by tapping the B button on xbox....
