Guys, what builds do you use ?

I play as a spellcaster and deal 3500+ damage, so I don't understand the cries about the difficulty in the DLC.

Just level 190 (str + dex, also some int and other stats), a lot of this DLC shards and Marika's Hammer.
Sometimes switch to Rivers of Blood + Katana with Bloodhound's Step. This last two is mostly for bosses, for everything else i use only Marika's Hammer.
I don't know, this is the best build in entire existance. Because it well balanced between 0 effort and huge damage without wasting a lot of resources, you just smash every now and again untill everyone dies. Works on ALL enemies (except bosses, but not all).
In most cases you don't have to roll on the floor in all sides like crazy, find time window to counter attack some angry knights, you just spam Gold Breaker untill it dies. If it not dies you do one more Gold Breaker. Repeat untill everyone dies. Usually it takes 1-2, maybe 3 smashes of Gold Breaker to kill every non-boss enemy in DLC.

Went from Battle mage to Dex Great Katana build. Dragon Hunter's Katana has been my go to for the dlc

Generally use my trusty +25 Redmane Great Shield combined with my +10 Ruins Greatsword. That takes care of most normal mobs plus some of the general trash bosses. I've been forced to play around with talismans and alternate weapons, but otherwise doing great. I'm at the final boss currently.

Arsenal Charm +1, Carian Filigreed Crest, Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman and Pearldrake Talisman +3 typically when using the +10 Ruins Greatsword.

Have used a +24 Blood Antspur rapier for some of the bosses since it works quite well on a chunk of them.

Right now I am using the lightning perfume build on my second playthrough of the DLC. The one that one hit kills DLC bosses with rolling sparks, with a level 100 character before they nerf it.
