If you want some recommendations for games that can keep you for 100s if not 1000s of hours I'd recommend Rimworld, From the Depths, Factorio, The Binding of Isaac or even Hearts of Iron IV (haven't checked if you own any of those).

After the success of Elden Ring, all of their souls games have weaker sale prices. Even Dark Souls 2 is more expensive than it was 5-7 years ago

Sure, that is a fair thing to say and do but the fact that you felt the need to create this thread to actively complain about the discount not being bigger kinda negates your whole point here.

You could just, you know, wait for a bigger discount without feeling the need to trash the current discount.

i mean... i got it for cheaper on PS5 during summer sales last year. it doesn't make sense that it's more expensive during steam summer sales this year just because it got a big dlc released... but i know it just bandai being greedy as usual

It's not more expensive, the sale is just not as big which makes perfect sense from a business perspective.
The new DLC JUST came out so putting the base game on a discount at all is already a miracle considering the bundle for both the base game and the DLC is cheaper than buying both individually.

I wouldn't call that greedy at all. Especially considering how other triple A companies handle their games *cough* overpriced season passes *cough* day one DLC *cough* 130$ ultimate editions *cough* microtransactions *cough*

You get the idea.

Also that means you already own the game lol, why buy it a second time?

Yeah I'm not buying the game if it isn't the historical low price. I am not that crazy interested in these games and Squad in this summer sale they are doing 25% instead of 50% so I might as well buy the game when its dead.
