I just loled when I saw Miquella alive in flesh hugging Radahn as a physical being after he abandoned everything besides his hair.
Well I ofc can just assume things since the game doesnt really explain anything about Miquella besides some cryptic nothing burgers. There is next to nothing there. Which tbh disappointed me a lil bit. We needed a npc that explains a couple of things like Ansbach for Mohg. Meanwhile we get Leda that is just borderline insane.
But thats also why I look forward to the lore videos. Because I didnt understand much.
And Miquella is yet another character like Ranni who is described one way in the lore and narrative, but their actions towards the player make them out to be a drooling idiot:
Miquella: "ye can't defeet us, for I am a God and ma brotha' es a lard, m'lard, we shall dfeet ye for I am a god and a god is a god and I am god."
Player: Standing there with the sword you get from the Elden Beast: A LITERAL GOD.
The moment you try to apply the Dark Souls kind of writing anywhere else characters just turn out looking so stupid in their motivations and we know the writers want us to think they're smart, so it's entirely a failure on the writers part when the character chalks up the players accomplishments to a "nuh uh", while an actual entity would start sweating realizing the player has murdered literally EVERYONE whose ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in their path.
Miquella should have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ toasted by Messmer and he should have been the final boss, I would have accepted Godwyn the Golden too though.
Now apply this to ER and you will have a much better understanding of the god's being multi faceted, be it Radagon and Marika, Miquella and Trina or Malenia and her daughters.
They are all empyreans in lore, meaning they have something which the regular demi gods have not, and they all possess this transubstantiation element, even Ranni and her dual faced doll, althou we have no clue what this represents to her.
No not the boss or miquella. The little info we get for miquella in the dlc.
I mean your explaination above does make sense but imho it should be a bit more obvious if he actually transcended into godhood.
I stand by what I said. He abandond everything to be able to turn into a god. My question is.. how? Nothing is explained there. Why did he have to kill himself and abandon everything to turn into god. What makes enir-llim so special? I might missed some enviromental lore or something.
What he did to get there.. we know. With nothing burger I also meant all the info we had about him being gentle and probably the one and only decent offspring from Marika. In the end however he is just a spoiled brat killing everyone only to get his will.
Yeah making the world gentler place after being a manipulative piece of ♥♥♥♥ literally forcing radahn into mohg to be his b1tch lol.
Then accusing us coming from the erdtree despite us effin burning that thing to the ground rofl. I just wish Miquella had more to say. All the build up for next to absolutely nothing.
