How am I supposed to beat Rennala as a glintstone mage ?

If we are giving you the benefit of the doubt, then we are assuming you are built properly, using the right spells, and are a skilled player. That basically leaves us with you being under leveled. Leveling will decrease difficulty of all bosses in the main game. Its really that simple.

If you are properly leveled, then just lock a build in. My mage I had the Meteor staff or whatever until I got the Carian one. I ran a samurai sword I cant remember until I got the Moon-veil.

I do remember her second phase being rough when I attempted. I think you can summon for it? I think "got gud" and held my summon until the second phase and did whatever I had to do.

Rennala first phase is a puzzle >-< so why would you summon spirit ash on a puzzle ?

What are you talking about I said wait to summon for the second phase its very obvious he is talking about the base game? Its like you didn't read at all you just jumped to Im wrong somehow lol

You can directly run behind her when phase 2 begins and completely negate comet d'azur, allowing for free summon and free hits afterwards.

Thats a good tip. I fought her fresh off release with zero guide or help of any sort, before they even had NPC location emblems and whatnot, so I just banged it out, but good to know for next time.
