i know many enjoy it or think it's just not that bad, but i think it's a bad direction for these kinds of role playing games to go. it's a permanent upgrade and improvement to your characters regardless of build or playstyle you are going for and admitted by the devs to be the only means of progression and getting stronger in the DLC to overcome anything challenging you in it. which means none of the weapons, spells, other items or any build or playstyle will matter as much as simply collecting more of those fragments. it doesn't make sense in a role playing game and i don't think they encourage exploration so much as discourage it. you know if you're struggling on anything in the DLC, your only hope of getting stronger to make it past that is going out and hunting down any more you might not have yet. not trying to level up or find some new weapon, spell, or other item to help you out. just get more fragments. one item.

Here is the table....
leveling sadutree fragments is the most powerboost you can do in the DLC....
even having only 2 Sadutree blessigs is 20% more damage and 17% damage reduction compared to having none......
at max level its 2,05x Damage and 62% damage reduction compared to none
its not a small boost... its the biggest difference anything in the DLC will have on Char strength
Idk. I got 10 on ng 3 and I'm not seeing a difference. I was going fragmentless till the last boss area bc ♥♥♥♥ those divine knights.
I saw maybe a 100 extra attack power and i was getting 2.5 shot to death instead of 2 with 2.3k hp.
