Can i dodge the crybaby update 1.12.2????

Guys i have a question please. How did the new update effect the difficulty??? I am 3 rememberance bosses away including the final boss and i don't want to have the crybabies update to finish the game on easy mode, i started the game how it was meant to be started on hard mode and i want to have that satisfaction to stay till i finish. Now, i heard that the patch mainly will effect the beginning of the game, so did i dodge the crybaby update?

The update only has any significant effect until Scadutree Level 10, after that the difficulty is largely the same as before.

if you're close to the end and nearly max out the blessing, the update prob didn't do much to you.

the maximum amount of dmg and def buff wasn't change (i think), they simply give the early levels of blessing giving bigger dmg+def buff while reducing the effectiveness of the blessing for those last upgrades.

the TL;DR is, early game will be easier, but the further they go, their experience will be pretty much the same as pre-patch

The change doesn't do much to anyone with later half of the Scadu Blessing amount. Anyone below 10 will have larger improvement per 1 Scadu level early, but if you're far along now with 16-18, the compound amount of blessing will average out to be the same as the previous update at the max or near.

A few people have commented on the bosses hitboxes being nerfed. I can't confirm the validity of those claims, but I also think I felt a difference on Rellana's hitboxes being much more generous. Might be placebo.

They increased the dmg negation for +20 scadutree from the original so unless you revert a the patch, the game is easier.

no you have to play with the new update then once you beat the game you can go touch grass if you can make it outside that is

It was just a regulation update so no that definitely hasn't changed.

You can, dont update, copy and paste your game files to a new directory. Disable EAC and you can keep playing on the old patch

Yeah you can downgrade using Steam console, the whole process is a massive pain in the ass though

YES, THANK YOU. People are allowed to have opinions. Just because you think you're so skilled and gain self-satisfaction by playing a challenging game. Go play something else and refund the game.

The update didn't do anything realistically. Shifted some power spikes.
Doesn't matter if literally every ''super boss'' can destroy you in 1 mistake with 5 buffs, max armor, 60 vigor, and 20 shadowtree blessings.
So enjoy the game, you are fine.
