Well, yeah, but also - no. They are not "unnecessary difficult", they are just difficult. And they are difficult because they suppose, like every other piece of Abyssal Woods, from blocking Torrent to music, messages and even yellow-eyed animals, to serve a singular purpose: make you, a guy that possibly beat Malenia and is overpowered to the point of absurdity, scared to the bones about this place.

And hey - they succeed in that.

Meh. They're difficult, but in a very simple way, Just parry that one strike, and you're basically done. They also don't respawn, thankfully.
