Final boss tips

Honestly i dont even see a pattern in phase 2. It's just an endless row of attacks that does not even seem dodgeble with a light roll.

What do you actually do here to kill him legit.? i dont see it thx.

Fingerprint Greatshield + Blood Antspur Rapier will absolutely crush him. He is VERY weak to bleed and scarlet rot.

Also, you should change the title to Final Boss tips. Spoilers and all that.

thx. sry i didnt even knew h is the last boss.

okay if thats it i might as well just not keep playing. Tanking him is basically a cheese. I mean what's the point.

I get if we use a weakness or something like that but saying, "yea use a shield because dont even think about dodging his stuff" is basically saying, the boss is dogsh*t.

Yep. :)

I like using Blood Tax on it. Though I rarely actually use the AoW, but it will give you a Scarlet Rot weapon that also Bleeds.

I've been fighting him for about an hour and I have no idea. His first phase is easy enough if you parry him but he can kill you in like 1 second in phase 2.

You're good man, no harm no foul, was just trying to help.

I always say, never feel bad about cheesing bosses as they won't feel bad about cheesing you. Even with the greatshield and antspur combo, you can still easily lose if you don't manage your stamina.

Edit: And his holy and meteor damage can still leech through and drain your HP as well.

Plus, if you get grabbed once, you need to use Miquella's Rune to get rid of the icon above your head. Otherwise if you get grabbed a second time, it's insta-death.

Well i almost made it after respecking to 80 faith. You kinda need to outlast his BS.
But honestly the attacks are insane. Wolf from sekiro cant deal with this crap.

Lag spikes were literally getting me killed over and over with my Great Katana build and I got fed up. So I went with the ultimate cheese build and melted him first try.

My build:

1. Antspur Rapier +25
2. Verdigris Shield +10
3. Greatshield Talisman
4. Golden Braid
5. Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman
6. Kindred of Rot's Exultation

My stats:

Vigor 60
Mind 14
Endurance 31
Strength 50
Dexterity 98
Intelligence 7
Faith 16
Arcane 10


All I did during both phases was stab him to death with my shield up. It was almost too easy.

I had to resort to it because his 2nd phase killed my framerates. I haven't had single digits since Blighttown many years ago.

If I didn't have a liquid cooling system, I'm pretty sure my GTX 1080 would have exploded.

Fr, the real cheeses are the builds that kill him in less than a minute. Tanking you still have to build yourself entirely around the shield, make sure you have the right trinkets, and then only block right before being attacked so you get that extra fraction of a second of stam regen that isnt slowed down by blocking
