Leda and Hornsent Summon Sign Bug?

I haven't defeated Messmer yet, but the summon signs for the fight between Leda and Hornsent won't show up. Leda is still at the highroad cross site of grace, and she is saying she will follow hornsent to the black keep. I would very much like the ash of war from helping Hornsent, so this has impeded my progress.
The summon sign to fight or assist Ansbach also won't show up after having given him the letter and exhausting his and freya's dialogue. They have both disappeared.
Is anyone else having this issue, and is there a workaround?

I have the exact same problem rn and I need help. Idk if it triggered because I entered the boss room for mesemer but I didn’t kill him yet. I saw the summon signs before but I didn’t do it bc I didn’t want to mess up npc quest yet. But summon sign disappeared for me as well and I did the quest like for the other 2 so idk maybe kill mesemer

Bugged out for me too, so I had to get someone to drop the stuff I would get from doing the questline. That's so annoying. Which is also why I'm waiting to kill Messmer until after they fix this...

Any chance you'd be willing to backup your save and then drop me the swift slash ash of war? I really don't have the time to restart the whole DLC just to get that, but it's pretty crucial to my build. If so, I will be sure to pass on your kindness to others.

damn, was really hoping for a solution, for me she is still stuck at "allow me some time to mull it over" only want Dane's footwork.

I was having the same issue, summon sign no appearing, and manage to fix it by going back to where Leda was and talking to her until exhausting the dialogue. I have to do it twice, reloading the area so Leda could have two different dialogues.

I killed Messmer before chosing who to assist, so not killing or killing seems not to affect.

I fixed it by talking to ansbach and exhausting his dialogue since I chose him, maybe that was the issue? I would recommend talking and exhausting the npcs you chose as target, maybe it works.

I chose neither as the target so I guess I'm just SoL. Hornsent, who she chooses if you pick none, is nowhere to be found either.

Oof, I chose hornsent too sorry typo, and he didn't show up on map either but he was RIGHT BEHIND the site of grace where Leda was, so maybe he is there for you too?

TL;DR Hornsent moves his sign to Messmer's boss room if you ever set foot there, aka the quest MUST be done before triggering Messmer's cutscene

Beat Messmer because I missed their summon so guess I'm locked out of finishing this questline :/ Leda's dialogue is stuck on "I'm quite mistrustful of others" and after exhausting Hornsent's dialogue after the fight with Messmer he's nowhere to be found.

If you enter Messmer's fight and initiate his cutscene you cannot progress the Leda/Hornsent quest because he moves from where he should be to up into Messmer's boss room.

If you havent already, exhaust hornsents dialogue and then rest at the grace to make him disappear from there and leda will say that she has decided to eliminate hornsent
