Weird drops in DLC
Why are the drops in the DLC so broad. I just found a six stack of Smithing stone [1] in the Dragon Pit. I can buy that from the Twin Maiden Husks in Roundtable Hold for the amount of runes one enemy gives me in the same room, so why give it to me here this far down the line?

My guess is for all the new weapons added so you can at least upgrade them a bit without having to buy stones. Or for people who bought the dlc/base bundle and just rushed to dlc

I appreciate it personally. I like to experiment with new weapons and the DLC drop gave me opportunity to do so. I ended up being a big fan of the dryleaf arts and dane's footwork.

well if you rush for the dlc you should hit a wall and start going back to get the upgrade mats dark souls did it way better with the dlc items.....

It's wild to me that people would complain that dlc/postendgame content would try and make any remaining grinding irrelevant.

Sure it doesn't help you or me, but i'm sure it helps someone out there.

Someone was seriously complaining about the amount of gloveworts lv 9. And it's like, for a guy like me who only has a few, and hasn't upgraded many spirits, it is in fact useful.

You can't have every drop important at this point. Rather get stuff like this than random stuff for crafting, which I don't personally do.

I agree that they can't make every single drop useful, but consider the entrance of the DLC is moghwyn palace, a place that only have lv 7 and above items, the DLC should try to only offer loots that are somewhat equal to that. No one need to see somber 1s

one of the few criticisms i agree with, right here

it's nice to be able to level the new weapons, but if you go to Mogh through the teleporter instead of rushing him, you already have the bell bearings for the low level stones

should be confined to higher level stones at least

mob drops would be ok but finding them in the world is very meh and almost every time i found some very hidden item it was a smithing stone 1-6 or some somber stones makes exploration rly boring except for some of the views you can get on this map.....
