If you have defeated Maliketh it should just be purchaseable in the roundtable hold store.
Additionaly you may want to find the Golden Braid in the DLC, a talisman that also raises holy resistance significantly, although I would argue it is kinda hard to find without using a guide.
As for the attacks, you need to keep in mind that horizontal attacks will spawn light explosions in an arc in front of them, whereas vertical attacks shoot them in a line that has very far reach. So for most of the horizontal attacks you will either want to dodge back to get away from the reach of the beams (which was the safest for me), or dodge to the side being ready to also immediately dodge the subsequent explosion; and in the vertical attacks, you will mostly want to dodge to the side. I think the only exception to these rules is the double slash combo into the crosscut, in that one you still want to dodge towards the third hit, even though it is horizontal.
I planned to leave as many main game bosses alive so I can beat them with DLC weapons, but if I get desperate I might try.
Oh right, I completely forgot I even found that item, I should replace my pearldrake greatshield talisman for that. I'd take more damage for blocking his gravity attacks, but that's less of a problem. Thanks!
Thanks again, thanks to this now I still haven't beaten him but at least now I got him to around 10% health several times.
Nice, good to hear! Keep hacking away and it will fall.
Just in case you are having one of the same issues I had, I couldn't reliably dodge his super dive attack towards the end, I knew how to do it in theory and I got decent at dodging the lasers that come before it but in the panic of that late stage I could not dodge the dive itself reliably and it would cost me a flask, when at that point you really cannot afford it.
So what I started to do was to charge the physick with the tear that grants you almost invulnerability for the next hit you take, and when he would jump up I would have enough time to drink it, and as long as I dodged the lasers beforehand, I knew I was safe even if I messed up. That came clutch in my successful attempt because of course I messed up the dodge >.<
