70 Strength Builds Feeling Very Strong In The DLC
If anyone is at all struggling in the DLC, and by the sounds of it, it's a lot of you.

My 70 strength build will absolutely turn the content into a Sunday walk down the beach.

So if you want to know what a giant crush and great club dual wielded do in the dlc in terms of damage?

It's a one click 2300 depending on the enemy and their resistances.

That plus the maximum poise dmg per hit is gonna absolutely pancake everything in the game.

So there you go for people looking for broken builds, my strength build went from pretty good base game to hilariously broken post fragment due to percentage increases to dmg.

You guys should post your broken builds and how you're tearing "The Hardest Soulslike Content" apart.

Edit: jump attacks with claw talisman do over 3000 dmg !!!!

It takes 5 savage lions claw attacks with 65 strength and alexander jar shard to kill messmer with ultra great sword heavy infusion.

Also I assume you mean phase 1, it's a 2 phase fight and there's no way you are getting through both life bars.

Unless you're dmg stacking low health or something.

cool, so how is that some of you think that forcing people into certain builds is good idea? How about balancing game the way every other prior souls like were, aka all is valid and playable without frustration? nah thats madness just respec to same build everyone uses and use weapon and skills you dont like, god forbid you have fun with your own build or weapon you like.

People on YouTube are doing a lot of build crafting right now for the dlc content.

It's less about forcing people and more so highlighting options that are going to ease frustrations and negative reviews.

Like for example when share Ash's of war that work for them.

Blasphemous blade, new savage lions claw etc.

They aren't saying you're invalid, they are saying hey heres a thing that worked for me.

Eh 3k damage on a jl1 isn't that insane in the dlc.

Ah, after 60 STR and 60 HP, I don't like to increase those stats further because you get diminishing returns.

It would be interesting to see the difference between 60 STR (the hard cap) and 80 STR (the super hard cap).

But with the two-hand talisman and the Scadutree fragments, I’m still doing around 2100 average damage with 60 STR.

Can t remember who, but basically did Mesmer in 30 secs, with a str/arc build (IIRC) apparently without being over levelled, if that s even possible in the DLC. Think about it, 30 seconds. Weapons make a hell of a difference.
