However, when you enter the DLC zone, you apparently get a hidden debuff (-100%) that lowers your damage dealt and increases damage received.
In order to offset the debuff, you need to collect some tree chuncks, each of which restores 5% of your former stats. Hence there are 20 such chunks in the game world.
The scadutree fragments increase damage dealt and decrease damage taken while in the DLC, at max scadutree blessing you end up doing a bit around double damage and take a bit less than half damage.
At the top levels of skibidi blessing your damage and damage resistance basically double.
If you don't, you can have a 80 strength with an S-tier weapon and barely be doing damage against a boss. But if you use Scadutree fragments, you'll bring your power levels "back to normal" and be engaged in a more standard boss fight.
I would not recommend entering the DLC at level 80 or something. They still matter, but the diminishing returns at high levels has a greater impact
In reality they gave a huge universal debuff to all players regardless of level. In other words, it is always more beneficial to be at a higher level no matter what.
You don't get the debuff (in some way you take but not at all. it's just different math) but blessings give you 100% damage reduction (multiplitive - which with armor of 14 physical damage negation and 20% dmg negation talisman will result with 70% damage reduction. Which is stupidly high amount.. with package of 100% attack rating and 100% hp. Blessings have more impact on game than your equipment/build.
you need only spent 15 minutes roaming around map and collecting them to be as tanky as the heaviest armor in default game but with light armor.
