Oh, dang, I missed those staffs. Do you know the name of the staff that lets you do both?
I might try the twin moon sword. I did switch to and have been using Moonrithyll's sword, though it only has D scaling even at +10.
I think the spell from Rellana is trash - the startup is far too long and the AoE range is far too short. Good luck getting it off without getting hit out of it. Even when doing coop and the enemy is focused on someone else it's still hard to pull off without getting yourself killed in the process of casting it. Very high FP cost and I don't think it even really does all that much damage for how much it costs.
At first I thought the Glintstone nails spells were terrible too because I didn't see the point of casting them when you can just cast comet or night comet, but maybe these have better tracking?
Fleeting microcosm might be interesting, but I feel like I got this so late in the DLC there's barely anything left to use it against at this point.
I'd definitely suggest giving Line of Stars a chance. I had a lot of fun with it once I got used to how it moved.
Impenetrable Thorn, a spell so strong that you completely forgot about others when fighting large target
It's more Arcane than INT though, because it's high damage comes from its bleed procs, so you want as high arcane as you can. It also requires 24 faith.
The staff that lets you use both Incantations and Sorceries is called the Staff of the Great Beyond.
It is rewarded by slaying Mother Metyr, towards the end of Ymir's questline. You'll have to ring the bells at both Finger Ruins, and then return to the cathedral to find the third. Her remembrance can be traded for the staff.
EDIT: Oh, one thing I liked for Rellana's Twin Moons: You can trap enemies in a Gravitational Missile and then drop the Twin Moons on top of it. It'll make it far harder for enemies to interrupt you.
Also, Microcosm is a pretty good spell.
Let's see, Gravitational missle is pretty good for crowed control, impentrable thorns is really good, especially if the enemy is close when you can cast it, very long range as well. Fleeting microsom is also very good due to high burst damage aoe. those are the ones i use at least, i think twin moons spell is decent but i havn't used it much outside the first try cast.
Guy above me already said staff of the great beyond is the duel casting, but as you might as expect from this fact, the scaling for it is worse than the dedicated staves., but both are obtained around the same time, one after the other after a few fights. and yeah, i wasn't impressed with the twin moon spells. i only used it once before i said "no"
