Upon entering the arena, immediately run to the left and hide behind a small recess in the wall. This will at least give you time to summon and prepare as he can't hit you with his initial charge. Greatshield Soldier ashes are a great summons as they draw a lot of heat, allowing you to do damage without a constant barrage from the boss.

When he gets unstuck and runs to the left you turn back to the entrance
He will then get stuck in the towers again
Repeat

You can dmg him with ranged or long weapons when he gets stuck for a cheesy easy win

Nice. Better than my attempt. Slow roasted him with Sacred Relic Sword's Wave of Gold. I brought out a Mimic for double the roast. >.>
