Do you realize that people can disagree with streamers? Just because streamer X says something doesn't make it the truth. It doesn't matter who that streamer is.

Also do you understand that Asmongold had to change his entire build to progress? He went from power stance to carry the biggest and heaviest shield in the game. That alone should tell you something. Btw. I also finished the DLC using the same shield (and not because he used it)

Btw. I've watched a couple of videos of people fighting the bosses while not using shields relying entirely on dodge. It was painful to watch every single time and all of them have suffered greatly. This includes dudes like "let me solo her".

I know what most streamers and video creators on Youtube are saying and I'm disagreeing with most of them on the topic of the ER DLC. That doesn't make them wrong or right. It just makes it their opinion and I have mine.

And I think the DLC is pretty bad in terms of boss design and mechanics. It relies to much on long combos, huge nearly unavoidable AOEs and with overly aggressive enemies with little to no time to recover.

Yes, you are missing the point. The point is not that it's "scandal" for some streamer to respec.

The point is that generally relying on dodge in the DLC makes things considerably more difficult. Using a big shield is the new "easy" mode. Is that a scandal? Not really. Does it make the game better? Not in the slightest. It makes the game worse actually.
