Inappropriate Activity Detected!!!

I was playing normally, i don't hack or use Cheat Engine. I just saw an invader kill himself from fall damage and I got the Inappropriate Activity Detected message. What the ♥♥♥♥! I got banned from online play now!?!

sometimes you get the message again anyway, and again and again and it never stop.... and you cant play online anymore

Same thing happened to me but I was the invader. I randomly invaded right before the final boss and say the host had two summons next to the fog gate and I just decided it was not worth it and jumped on the railing and back stepped off the side and died. When I returned to my own world I was kicked for "Inappropriate Activity". WTF...

Restarted the game and invaded again, killed the host and when I returned back to my world I was kicked for the same thing. IDK what the trigger for it is.

in all seriousness tho, i wonder when a patch will come, asap pls, i cant play elden ring because i cant play coop, and that starting to be irritating to me... (and before anyone else start to say i can play solo, i say that yes i can, ofc i can, but i DONT WANT TO, end of discussion)

so i come back here because i suddenly wanted to retry elden ring a bit, and in my surprise what can i do? coop ! yes now i can play coop anew , but when i stopped because now wasnt a good time to play i got the message again, *sigh* i wonder when a patch will come still

I was getting this message today too when I was summoning my friend at times and is annoying because you need to restart the whole game to make it go away and we aren't even using any mods or the such.

Did you use steamdeck to play? Same issue, and i saw a lot of other deck user report the same issue on reddit.

After the update I didn't even have a chance to get past main screen. It automatically gave me "inappropriate act detection " bs. Soo annoying

Browse the installation directory of the game, then enter the "Game" directory and create an empty text file named:

DLC.bdt

THIS. DOES. WORK. If you haven't bought the DLC. The steamdeck will say "inappropriate act detection" bs. BUT if you add that file into that spot. Itll fix the issue!!
I'm not too computer savvy but I was able to figure it out & make it happen.

no it happens to me atleast 2 times a day, it doesnt ban you its an error in the anti cheat system that they have been trying to fix since the launch of the dlc
