You can even bypass Margit completely, technically he's optional. Though it just gets harder if you bypass him and all the castle loot.
I would double argue the opposite. the game really never teaches you true basics. Nor does it provide the answers. What i mean is Margit you have the chain from patches and you got the Blood Tier For Mong final battle. and you have that thing for the wolf guy but the game never explains how that works. But for the rest..... i take everything i says.... No the serpent spear is pointless and until after mountion the somber stone cost is two high for the one time boss fight. What im trying to say is the game does a really bad job teaching you fundamentalist of combat. More the tricks it does teach become bad such as riding around and spamming range skins. Most of all VIT should not be a core stat and i still say the Bosses deal just two much damage. I say this when compaired to bleed all other weakness are next to a joke besides holy on death birds. outside of what elemental weakness are marginal at best.
But over leveling is a pain in the backside two because besides the spot in blood land Their are very frew good stop to grind levels. of hand i know one in Calide outise a fort where you can lure over a bunch of big headed dogs to kill the camp. I know on in mounting top where you kill the two Troll's pulling a cart. Outside of them leveling is a pain.
Compare this to the older DS games. It you in a hallway. You either push or cheese thought or never get anywhere. Everything you NEED is provided and you will have the resorces when you require them.
If you make a point to explore thoroughly, clearing each smaller and larger location like once, you will always be a bit overleveled throughout the game. Grinding is always optional and should only be done if you want to and like it.
That means it is a much more reasonable 5% of people who ragequit at Margit, which sounds about right.
I for one was using just a few sites of grace and when I got to roundtable I had even returned to Limgrave from Caelid or maybe even longer than that (what was near 10h or more, just after some 10h that I found the game have a map)
