Why Ranni killed Godwyn?

It seems like Marika's first children are so-called from the Golden Order. SOme kind of nonsense don't ask me.

So Ranni, Radahn, and Rykard are from Marika's second marriage and hate the children from the other marriage or something like that

Correction, I am not sure, Ranni is from Radagon and Rennala, while the others are from Marika and Godfrey.

But Radagon divorced Rennala and married Marika. Not sure which happens first actually, first Marika and divorce her and marry Rennala or the opposite, who cares. He has kids

It is some kind of nonsense dude, don't even bother to relay to that. One of the worst writings ever seen in fantasy genre. As if they hired the last unemployed fantasy writer in the world to concoct a story

It seems that they tried to make it little bit like Game of Thrones, dynastic feuds, for example Malenia fighting Radahn, both from two different dynasties. SO some kind of power struggle.

Ranni on the other hand of course plots to assasin Godwyn from the other dynasty and marriage

Radagon left her mother Rennala and married Marika. (In reality they're split personalities of the same person). Ranni became incredibly angry at Radagon because it made Rennala go insane, and she probably felt like Radagon had never been sincere in the marriage and was lying to avoid fighting the Carians.

Because of this rage she turned against Marika given she was Radagon's supposed new wife and killed her most cherished offspring, Godwyn. She ultimately justifies what she is doing by saying the Two Fingers are also tyrannical compared to the Darkmoon, but it's kind of hard to know what the Darkmoon wants.

when you fight her, you're made to believe you are fighting her in her dream. but when you fight her you are actually in what is left of the world, fighting the real her, and she lets you believe you defeated her. after that you live on through her dream. the lands between are just a dream of Rennala.

Three dynasties
1. Marika and Godfrey - Godwyn, Godrick
2. Radagon and Rennala - Rani, Radahn
3, Radagon and Marika - Mohg, Rykard, Malenia, Miquella

Ranni kills Godwyn and starts the feud wars. Malenia revenges by killing Radahn (Ranni's brother). Rykard stays away from the feud and becomes immortal serpent who never dies. Similar to Godryck who likes his brother Godwyn and his connection to the dragons and tries to be like him. Morgot is loyal to his mom and dad and defends the Golden Order. Mohg kidnaps Miquella and uses her power like a lich lord.
