PS5 Button Prompts

Any idea how to get PS5 button prompts? It's been two years and this game still doesn't have it.

I just keep an xbox one controller on my desk for reference.

I've got so good at translating over the years I really don't care anymore...I don't think I've ever even seen PS prompts lol

You can’t, just remember which button does what and you should be good

Reckon it's because Xbox is owned by Microsoft and so the font for their prompts are more easily available to developers, also Xbox controllers can be hooked up to a PC without the need for further software besides a default driver which is installed automatically. Haven't seen any PS prompts on PC in ages, no matter which game

Weird all of the games I’ve played that are fairly new have PlayStation prompts. Especially with Steam Input translates all the buttons based on the controller connected. Never needed any extra software when connecting my PlayStation controller

its not difficult to remember what button does what, however if you want ps prompts then you will have to mod the game and play offline, which is what i do for the ultrawide and ps5 prompts.

The problems of the Elden Ring game on PC:

- No Playstation controller buttons/symbols

-There are black bands in 2560x1600

-A lack of performance optimizations

-No Dlss /Fsr

If you are using steam that can recognize the controller, you can visit the library page -> elden ring then click on controller next "Manage" button (the gear icon), then you can choose which layouts you want to use for controller

The only way to get PS5 button prompts is with a mod.

It's annoying, but you get used to translating the button prompts fairly quickly. I use a Switch controller and don't have any issues.
